Japanese group that has continuously changed their style throughout their career. Initially more house style vocoded vocals, moving towards smooth piano with a beat type music. Almost all their music has english lyrics. There are even some covers of American songs in there for whatever reason (remember "Every Breath You Take" from Space Jam?)

Check out the philharmonique stuff and the albums featuring the lovely voice of Rin Oikawa. Also included is their nice xmas album and a more electric guitar centered album Acasia.

I filtered my favs out of his music to date.
He claims his music is funk though some is a bit more on the pop-side. Each of his cds seem to follow a somewhat different theme so he covers a lot of different sounds. Overall nice music to relax to at home.

If you like this I recommend you check out his live concert cds, he significantly rearranges all his songs and replaces the electronic stuff with violins, cellos and acoustic guitars among other things.

There are 4 parts, use hjsplit or a similar program to recombine the parts into a .7z file.

Best of Soundracks from AT 1,2,3 and a few other Haruka albums.
Ar Tonelico is that game where as your characters level up they lose articles of clothing. As cheesy as it sounds it sports excellent character design and a fantastic soundtrack which strays far from the norm.

This music is tribal chanting mixed with nature sounds and traditional oriental instruments. World music-ish maybe?
