For as long as I've owned the damn thing I have had issues gaming on it. It's specs dictate it should be able to run most games on decent if not high settings at smooth frames. However TF2 can only withstand a constant 15 fps at low setting at shit resolution. Suggestions please?

I regret to inform you that the 9300m is not a very capable 3d graphics card. That 8800 CPU is very nice, and for 2d acceleration the GPU is just fine. But it's the 2nd digit of a GPU designation that is more important with regard to 3d processing, and a 300 card isn't gonna really FPS very well.

To maximize what you have, always turn off anti aliasing / anisotropic filtering and try running with no shadows and lower detailed models. Fortunately your native resolution is lowish at 13" so it will be sharp, if not detailed.

AA/AF off is your first step. If you still get bad fps, you can try running in DX8. There are guides for that online someplace.

Pretty well written guide, with decent selections.

Too bad it's obsolete within the month.
